Call for papers for the special issue “Prevention and Treatment of Addictive Behaviors on Campus”

Scope of the Special Issue:
“Addictive behaviors” are critical problem behaviors worldwide. It is not only associated with students’ health, also damage their academic performance, personality development, and interpersonal relationship. Addictive behaviors include smoking, excessive drinking, betel nut chewing, illicit drug use, problematic internet addiction or excessive internet use…etc. School plays a vital role in the prevention and treatment of students’ addictive behaviors. In order to prevent students from addictive behaviors and promote physical and mental development, the journal would like to invite research article submissions on the special issue entitled “Prevention and Treatment of Addictive Behaviors on Campus”. The research articles are expected to explore the addictive behaviors on campus from the theoretical and practical aspects. Articles contribute to the literatures of problems and challenges of students’ addictive behaviors that school teacher and staff faced are very welcome. For enhancing the mutual understanding and interaction in academia between Taiwan and the New Southbound countries, the journal sincerely welcome professionals from Southeast Asia to submit their research articles. Topics of interest for the special issue as follows:
1. Prevention and treatment of smoking
2. Prevention and treatment of betel nuts chewing
3. Prevention and treatment of excessive drinking
4. Prevention and treatment of illicit drug use
5. Prevention and treatment of problematic internet addiction or excessive internet use

For this special issue, authors are encouraged to email their submission form along with the manuscript to j.ntnu@ntnu.edu.tw. When submitting your manuscript, kindly provide the note “Special Issue: Prevention and Treatment of Addictive Behaviors on Campus” to ensure that your manuscript is considered for this special issue, instead of being handled as a regular one. All submissions will be processed on receipt and go through the journal’s double-blind peer-review process. The word limit of manuscript is less than 7,500 words in English.
